This project was conceived by the University of Texas  Team Pedal Creatures and created for the 2025 Walt Disney Imagineering’s Imaginations Design Competition. This project is the sole property of Walt Disney Imagineering and all rights to use these ideas are exclusive to Walt Disney Imagineering. The competition is a way for students and recent graduates to showcase their talents and for Walt Disney Imagineering to identify new talent.

Context:

Pedal Creatures is a concept for themed public transportation involving a system of organized pedicabs facilitated by stations.

Timeline:

September12 - Concept introduced/ Initial concept art

October 11 - Group formation and brainstorming

October 15 -  Final concept art begins

November 4 - Pitch writing beginning

November 10 - Finished concept art

November 14 - Creature token and bus stop concept art finalized

November 20 - Pitch writing finalized

November 21 - Project Submission

Process:

Worked with final product in mind, started with rough concept sketches and prototyped with research until final product. 

Inspiration:

Worked with the prompt of sustainability, convenience, and with interesting aspects of Austin.
