About Me
Hello, I am Molly Maguire, a creative technologies student at the University of Texas. Through my major, Arts and Entertainment Technologies, I am given the tools to become a multidisciplinary student, bridging between arts and technology. I am experienced in adapting emerging technologies to a themed entertainment or live event space using skills in programming, fabrication, visual arts, and project management. I utilize these skills daily, applying them to large-scale projects, such as an entry into the Disney Imaginations competition, programming a light show for a concert, and creating a large-scale interactive installation for a student showcase. I completed these projects in group settings while acting as the group leader on most projects done. Outside of my education, I am a lifetime guitar player, artist, and chronic collector of oddities. Having a musical and artistic background guides many of my educational and career choices. I am seeking to support any avenues of creative technology, and would love to connect through LinkedIn!
